Nicos Kessaris

Nicos Kessaris is a seasoned Consultant with a focus on renal, pancreas, and pediatric transplantation at Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust since April 2012.

He is highly skilled in various procedures including hand-assisted retroperitoneoscopic live donor nephrectomy, vascular access, peritoneal dialysis catheter insertion, parathyroidectomy, and general surgery for renal patients.

Nicos holds the roles of Honorary Consultant at Great Ormond Street Hospital and Honorary Senior Lecturer at King's College, London, serving as the Surgical Lead for Pediatric Transplantation at both institutions since 2016.

He is an experienced examiner for the European Diploma in Transplant Surgery and a board member of the European Kidney Transplant Association (EKITA). Nicos is actively involved in organizing the 2019 ESOT meeting in Denmark and contributes to teaching initiatives such as the LiDo course and an e-learning platform on Pediatric Transplantation on behalf of ESOT.

His educational background includes studies at The English School and St. George's, University of London.
