Sine Christensen

Sine Christensen, with 20 years of international experience in education development, serves as a Special Advisor and senior technical expert in strategic program development.

She has played a critical role as the Head of Save the Children's global basic education technical working group and led various education innovation projects in Asia.

Her expertise spans humanitarian response and development programs across Africa, Latin America, and Asia, covering areas like Technical Leadership, Strategy Development, Program Development and Management, Fundraising, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research, Documentation, Advocacy, Strategic Partnerships, Capacity Development, Civil Society partnerships, and Community Development.

Sine pursued her education with a Cand Ed focused on Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Oslo (UiO), complemented by Management and Leadership training from the Norwegian Business School (BI).

Her academic background includes advanced studies in Pedagogy and Education, Social Anthropology, Philosophy, and Psychology, exhibited through various courses and degrees from the University of Oslo (UiO) and BI Norwegian Business School.

Throughout her career, Sine Christensen has held several key roles at Save the Children Norway, including Special Advisor, Asia and Education Strategy Specialist, and Senior Regional Education Advisor, showcasing her commitment to advancing education and creating positive change globally.
