Philip J. Ferneau is an accomplished early-stage venture capital investor and a professor of Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship at Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business. After obtaining an A.B. from Dartmouth College, a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, he co-founded and became Managing Partner of Borealis Ventures. Ferneau has an extensive track record of successful investments and board memberships in cutting-edge biotech companies such as Avitide, Evox Therapeutics Ltd, and Compass Therapeutics LLC. He has also held positions as an investor and board observer at Ovation.io and Teckro. Ferneau is a respected educator, having previously served as an adjunct professor at the Tuck School at Dartmouth College, where he teaches courses in Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship. He is a founding investor and former board director of Avedro Inc, and he maintains interests in and outside the biotech industry.
