Alex Spencer is a highly accomplished journalist and educator with a diverse range of experience in media and academia. After completing his A-levels in Psychology, Art, English Lit, Maths, ICT, and History, Alex went on to earn a First Class Honours degree in English and Creative Writing from the prestigious University of Birmingham. He subsequently pursued a PGCE in Post-Compulsory Education at Birmingham City University, which prepared him for a successful career as a freelance journalist and managing editor.

Alex's journalism career began with work experience at Future Publishing and IPC Media, where he honed his skills in writing, research, and editorial production. After earning his PGCE, he worked as a Staff Writer and Managing Editor at Mobile Marketing, Dot Media Ltd. He has also served as the Music Editor at Redbrick Newspaper, where he covered the latest developments in the music industry and interviewed notable artists.
