Joshua Batman

Joshua Batman is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in the Architecture, Development, and Construction industries. He kick-started his career in his family business, overseeing impressive projects worth $20MM in the single-family and multi-family sectors. After completing his graduate studies, he co-founded a design/build firm alongside renowned architect Joseph Wheeler. In 2016, he transitioned to Stony Point Development Group where he played a pivotal role in managing $180MM in real estate investments. Joshua's experience extends internationally, having interned at SOM, contributing to the iconic Burj Khalifa tower project and specializing in large-scale mixed-use development prototypes. Joshua holds an undergraduate degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master's in Architecture from Virginia Tech, actively participating in the award-winning Virginia Tech FutureHaus program. He has been recognized with various AIA awards and nominated for the NAHB Young Building Professional of the Year for Region A consecutively. Joshua is actively engaged in community initiatives, serving on the board of the Thomas Jefferson Community Land Trust and holding memberships with prominent organizations like ULI, AIA, and BRHBA. Beyond his professional endeavors, Joshua enjoys a fulfilling family life with his wife and two daughters, indulging in interests like boating, fly fishing, hiking, beach outings, and exploring fine cuisine.
