Manav Mital, a seasoned entrepreneur and software engineer, is the founder and CEO of Cyral, a company that provides a cloud-native security platform. He is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and University of California, Los Angeles, where he studied Computer Science. His professional experience includes management and technical positions at Aster Data, Yahoo, and Microsoft.

Before founding Cyral, Mital co-founded Instart Logic, where he served as CEO. At UCLA, he worked as a teaching assistant, and at the Max Planck Institute fur Informatik, he was a research intern.
