Louis Gourbin is a highly experienced commodities trader and risk management expert, currently serving as the Head of Commodities at B3, Brazil's stock exchange. He holds an Executive MBA from INSPER and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Montreal. With over 12 years of experience in agribusiness, Louis is recognized for his deep understanding of product flows and value-chains, from the farmer to the final consumer.

His career began at Avril Group (France) as a Biofuels Trader during the implementation of the EU's Renewable Energy Directive. After that, he joined Bunge Brazil as a Financial Risk Manager and Trader of soybeans, meal, oil, and biodiesel. He stayed at Bunge for several years, working his way up to Agribusiness Commodities Trader, and finally joined B3 as Superintendente Commodities.

In addition to his professional experience, Louis holds an International Baccalaureate from Ecole Active Bilingue Jeannine Manuel (Paris, France) and a NSW School Certificate from Sydney Grammar School (Sydney, Australia). He is also a former Open Water Scuba Instructor at Utila Dive Centre.
