As an economist with an MBA in corporate finance from Fundação Getulio Vargas, he has worked with several renowned global firms, including Petrobras, Ernst & Young, and Politec. Rivera has assisted in key deals involving clients from Brazil, Europe, Saudi Arabia, Central and South America, among others. In 2020, Acquisition International Magazine recognized him as the M&A Specialist of the Year in Brazil and the Best Corporate Finance & Transactions Firm in Brazil. He has a strong background in equity capital markets, due diligence processes, financial evaluation, investment analysis, and relationship management with strategic investors, private equity, family offices, and pension funds.
