Andrew Plato, a renowned cybersecurity expert, has spent his career protecting individuals, businesses, and organizations from cyber threats. While working at Microsoft in the mid-90s, Plato was struck by the ease with which he could retrieve sensitive data from websites. In response to this realization, he founded Anitian to help people navigate the complexities of information security and support innovation and growth.

Plato has been involved in nearly every dimension of information security and has executed penetration tests, completed compliance audits, deployed security technologies, and developed security programs to maturity. In 2016, he pivoted Anitian from a professional security services firm to a cloud security provider. Plato was the visionary behind Anitian's Compliance Automation platform, which delivers security and compliance at lightning speed via the power and scale of the cloud. In addition to Anitian, Plato also owns and operates Zenaciti, an industry analysis company that provides investors and leaders with information security intelligence and guidance.

Throughout his career, Plato's mission has been to harness the power of intelligence, both human and machine, to help clarify complexity and confusion. Specializing in cloud security, compliance, risk assessment, and incident response, Plato has a unique ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. He is also an expert in human factors in security and has a particular interest in how our perceptions and emotions can impact cybersecurity.
