David Wu, a Bay Area native, is an entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and angel investor with a passion for technology and creativity. As a Partner at Maveron LLC, he focuses on consumer tech with a particular interest in the convergence of social, gaming, and media. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University. Additionally, David is a voting member of the Recording Academy and a board member of the GRAMMY Museum Foundation. He has a background in music and has toured as a professional bass player. In his past experience, he served as COO, Chief Product Officer, and CFO at Homestead Websites, and Vice President of Small Business Group at Intuit.
