Dan Mirvish is a highly accomplished director, screenwriter, author, producer and lecturer, with a diverse range of professional achievements to his name. He studied Film Production at the University of Southern California and History/Political Science at Washington University in St. Louis, before embarking on a career that has seen him direct feature films, produce documentaries, and author several books. He co-founded the Slamdance Film Festival, a showcase for independent filmmakers, and has also written for various publications, including Farrar, Straus and Giroux.
