Joiner has held several roles in The Times, starting as an Interactive journalist, then becoming the Interactives and New Formats Editor before becoming the Head of Data and Digital Storytelling. At The Times, Joiner has created exciting and engaging content with the integration of technology, data, and interactive tools. Prior to joining The Times, he was the News Editor at Microsoft, where he led the team to report on breaking news and multimedia content.
