Mayur Datar is a distinguished computer scientist with expertise in data mining, algorithms, databases, and machine learning. He is known for his technical leadership and pragmatic, result-oriented approach to designing systems that solve complex consumer-related challenges. Mayur worked for Google as a Research Scientist for over a decade, leading several impactful projects such as the Keyword Suggestion Tool for advertisers and Google News personalization. He has a doctorate in computer science from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where he received the President of India Gold Medal for the "most outstanding student of his graduating batch."

Currently, Mayur serves as the Chief Data Scientist and Vice President of Engineering at Flipkart, India's leading e-commerce platform. He leads a large team of data scientists who are working towards building the most advanced e-commerce landscape in India. His work at Flipkart involves leveraging data-driven insights to optimize the platform's performance, drive sales, and enhance the customer experience.
