Kristin Merkel is a well-experienced and accomplished individual in the entertainment industry. Before becoming Director of Strategic Partnerships at Chegg, she had already spent years in event management, cultivated a network of independent film connections, and worked with ICM (now ICM Partners) in the International and Independent Film Department. She also holds a degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. As the Director of Strategic Partnerships for Chegg’s Brand Partnership team, Merkel connected Fortune 500 businesses with college students through integrated partnerships, advertising programs, and a new technological service. She is currently the Associate Director of Government & Nonprofit Programs at CommunityConnect Labs and is a former Political Organizer at Westside Democratic Headquarters. In her free time, Merkel can be found practicing yoga, going for a run, or reading on the sunny coast of Los Angeles.
