Peter Leonard is a renowned scholar in literature, with a focus on post-ethnic national belonging in European fiction. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Scandinavian Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from the University of Washington, and has studied at esteemed institutions such as Københavns Universitet and Columbia University.
Peter has a keen interest in digital and quantitative methods in the humanities, which includes areas such as text mining, network analysis, image analysis, and corpus query engines. He has worked as the Director of Digital Humanities Lab at Yale University, as well as a Librarian for Digital Humanities Research and Humanities Research Computing at The University of Chicago. He has also conducted research at the University of California, Los Angeles, and served as a Fulbright Fellow at Uppsala University.
