Jim Lewis, owner of Community Hospitality LLC and founding Partner and Chairman of Cumberland Consulting Group LLC, is a renowned businessman with an extensive background in consulting, technology implementation, finance, and business management. With a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Iowa and an extensive list of professional experience, Jim has traveled worldwide, observing hospitality and fine dining while cultivating a passion for wine. He is also an avid golfer, tennis player, and follower of the Nashville Symphony and Tennessee Titans.
Jim Lewis has a 35-year career in consulting, including leadership positions at Ernst & Young and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. As Chairman of Cumberland Consulting Group, Jim guided the company to being a national leader in Healthcare Information Technology consulting, headquartered in Franklin, TN. He is a board member of the Nashville Wine Auction and Thistle Farms and the former owner of Community Hospitality LLC, which operates restaurants such as Burger Up and Josephine. Jim and his wife Kimberly also own Emerson Grace, a women’s clothing store located in Nashville's 12 South neighborhood.
In terms of education, Jim studied Business Administration and Management at St. Ambrose University before earning his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems at the University of Iowa's Henry B. Tippie College of Business.
