Barbara Boyd is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in writing, editing, coaching, and marketing. She holds a degree in Italian and has worked for various organizations in different capacities. Barbara has been the Executive Editor at Scribe Media, where she has also served as a Senior Scribe, Outliner/Book Developer, and Book Coach. She has also been an author of For Dummies and other tech how-to books, a Professor at the University of Rome "La Sapienza," and a Writer and Marketing & Sales Consultant. Additionally, Barbara has experience in marketing and sales, having worked as a Marketing Director at Oh Boy, A Design Company, and a Marketing Coordinator/Writer at Accenture.

Prior to her career in writing and marketing, Barbara worked at Apple, where she held various positions, including Administrative Assistant, Coordinator of Public Relations, and Area Associate in the Office of the CEO. She also worked as an Associate Publisher and Conference and Special Projects Manager at International Data Group (IDG), and as an Office Manager at Behavioral Health Services. Before that, Barbara owned Boyd's Upholstery, a business where she developed her entrepreneurial skills.
