Thia Penta is an accomplished user experience and product designer, known for her expertise in creating intuitive and delightful applications rooted in user research and data. With over 15 years of experience in visual arts, Thia has worked on everything from mobile applications to fully responsive websites, gaining invaluable omnichannel experience. She studied User Experience Design at General Assembly, Graphic Design at Columbia College Chicago, Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies at Wayne State University, and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the College for Creative Studies. Thia has worked with reputable companies such as Walmart, Boeing, Amazon, Amazon Web Services (AWS), lululemon, and Costco Wholesale, to mention a few. Thia is also committed to education, having been a mentor to Jr. designers, facilitated design workshops, and contributed to team environments by helping to build design systems that enable the best practices. She is passionate about promoting positive change through design and continues to strive to be a leader for her team, always learning and growing as a designer.
