Andrew Russ is a highly experienced leader and executive with a diverse background in technology, finance, and business strategy. He is currently the Head of Startup Business Development & Strategy, EMEA at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he leads multi-functional and geographically distributed teams responsible for AWS' go-to-market strategy with startups. Andrew's extensive experience also includes working at Triangle Peak Partners, where he was responsible for venture capital and private equity transactions, and U.S. Trust, where he worked as an equity analyst.

At AWS, Andrew has incubated, launched, and scaled numerous teams of professionals across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, all leveraging cloud and digital transformation. He is also on the Amazon MBA Launch Program committee, representing AWS EMEA, and is dedicated to increasing the number of MBA Launch Program full-time hires working at AWS EMEA while also creating new pathways to help them succeed in cloud-technology roles.

Andrew's education includes a BA in Sociology from Amherst College, where he honed skills that helped him excel in leadership and executive roles.
