He has a passion for taking medical technologies from concept to commercialization, and has managed research, development, and regulatory affairs teams in both start-up and corporate environments. Dr. Martin has held leadership roles in multiple medical device companies, ranging from small start-ups to publicly-traded corporations.

Dr. Martin has a strong background in biomedical engineering, having earned a BS, MS, and PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also has experience as a senior lecturer of biomedical engineering and director of the Coulter Program at Boston University. He is currently the principal at Tremont Consulting, LLC, a consulting firm he founded.

Dr. Martin has a track record of success in executive management, team building, change/crisis management, operations, clinical research, product development, product launch, regulatory affairs, business development, manufacturing, and marketing.
