Susan Sandoe

Susan Sandoe is an accomplished education professional with a varied background in teaching, project management, and communications. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago and a Master of Arts degree in Education, with a concentration in Language and Literacy from San Francisco State University. Susan’s expertise lies in the areas of literacy coaching and consulting, project administration and management, as well as facilitating communication between educators and students, particularly in underserved communities.

Susan’s professional experience includes serving as a Literacy Coach and Consultant at Susan Sandoe Coaching, where she has helped students improve their reading skills and develop a passion for literature. She also served as a founding teacher, Teacher on Special Assignment, Literacy Intervention at Oakland Unified School District, and Business Development/Education Coordinator at The Healthcare Forum. Additionally, Susan founded One-on-One Tutoring where she served as Director and Learning Specialist.

Susan is an energetic and visionary professional dedicated to serving and empowering the heart, imagination, and underserved populations. Her Human Development Training Certificate in Tibetan Buddhism from the Nyingma Institute gives her a unique perspective in her teaching approach and her work with underserved communities.
