Amelia Marckworth

Amelia Marckworth is a driven and action-oriented individual with a passion for serving the community and fostering intentional development.

She holds a Master's Degree in Nonprofit Leadership and a Graduate Certificate in Fundraising Leadership from Seattle University, complemented by a background in Law, Societies, and Justice from the University of Washington, and Diplomacy and World Affairs from Occidental College.

Currently, Amelia Marckworth is actively involved in accelerating entrepreneurial leaders at the Seattle University Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center, where she serves as an Adjunct Professor of Business at the Albers School of Business and Economics.

Her extensive experience includes roles such as Seattle City Leader at Founders Live, Vice Chair on the Board of Trustees at Billings Middle School, Acting Director at the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center at Seattle University, and board positions at organizations like MotMot Coffee.

In her past roles, Amelia Marckworth has demonstrated her versatile skill set by serving as a Senior Program Manager, Special Events & Communications Manager, and Assistant Director in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Seattle University.

Her professional journey also includes experience in community development coordination, fundraising, and program management, gained through positions at Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County and Billings Middle School.

Before transitioning to the nonprofit and education sectors, Amelia Marckworth honed her customer service and sales expertise at Nordstrom Bellevue and Urban Darling as a Personal Stylist, and as an Account Executive at Marckworth Associates.

She has also contributed to various multimedia organizations like KCTS Television through her roles as a Community Outreach Intern and Communications Intern at both Billings Middle School and KCTS Television.
