Shana McIver

Shana McIver is an accomplished professional with a strong background in family and community engagement in the education sector.

She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Psychology and Communications from the College of Notre Dame of MD, as well as further education in Leadership in Community Education from Stevenson University.

Shana's career has been marked by notable roles at Baltimore City Public Schools, where she served as the Director of Family Engagement, FCE Manager, Family & Community Engagement Program Specialist, and Family & Community Engagement Specialist.

Prior to her work in the public school system, Shana held positions as the Community Resource School Coordinator at Greater Homewood Community Corporation and as a Community School Coordinator at The Y in Central Maryland.

Her expertise lies in fostering relationships between families, communities, and educational institutions to enhance student outcomes and create a supportive learning environment.
