Josh Kalven is a multi-talented writer, designer, and animator with an exceptional ability to break down complex topics. He studied Digital Media at USC Marshall School of Business as a News Entrepreneur Fellow, and also at Colorado College. Kalven is the Principal Designer at Lone Pine Creative, where he puts his creative skills to work as a designer and animator.

Before his current position, he was a member of the Founders Network and the founder and creative director of Newsbound. He was also the editor and co-founder of Progress Illinois and the deputy editorial director of Media Matters for America, where he was a senior researcher.

Kalven is passionate about simplifying complex topics and presenting them in an engaging and informative manner. He has an exceptional ability to communicate his ideas effectively and create content that resonates with a variety of audiences.
