Whitney Jones
Whitney Jones is a well-educated and accomplished professional with extensive experience in the community development field. Jones has a master's degree in geography from the University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor's degree in English from The University of Kansas.
Jones currently serves as the Director of Housing Development at Chinatown Community Development Center (CCDC). In this role, Jones is responsible for overseeing the development of affordable housing projects, which includes securing funding from various sources, managing relationships with community partners, and overseeing the entire development process.
Prior to joining CCDC, Jones worked as a project manager for a real estate development firm, where she managed the acquisition, development, and leasing of commercial properties. Jones also served as a research analyst for a nonprofit organization focused on community development.
Through her work with CCDC and other organizations, Jones has developed a deep understanding of affordable housing and community development. She is passionate about creating equitable, sustainable communities that provide access to affordable housing, economic opportunity, and social services.
