Jeremy Conrad has a strong background in engineering and entrepreneurship. He is a co-founder and CEO of Quartz, and was previously a partner and founder of Lemnos Labs, a venture fund focused on early-stage hardware startups. Prior to that, he held several engineering roles in the United States Air Force, including Chief of the Test and Targets Branch for the Airborne Laser Adjunct Missions and lead engineer for the Battle Management IPT for the Airborne Laser program. Conrad studied mechanical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology after attending Long Beach Polytechnic High School. He has a keen interest in the earliest stages of building hardware companies and has extensive experience in the field.
