4 years ago I envisioned Maersk offering an industry platform for digitizing global
trade and have since then validated the value proposition, designed the platform and is now in
the process of realizing it
Notice that the platform is built on the concept of Digital Tinglysning that I delivered as
Project Director at Devoteam Consulting, that again was designed according to the concepts in
my book.

During a revision of Maersk Lines business trategy in 2009, it became clear that Maersk Line IT didn't support the unification operating model that was envisioned in the business strategy,
Therefore a new IT strategy was established in end 2009, that would ensure Maersk line IT supported the business operating model.
The vision was centered around Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
I was engaged at Maersk Line in a program that should identify and coordinate activities necessary to realize the vision

To streamline the process of registration rights to properties in Denmark was it decided to focus on three areas:
Centralization - All employees should be located in one area, The Registration Court in Hobro
Digitalization - It should only be possible to registrar rights by sending electronic XML-documents signed with digital signature
Automation – Major part of the task to control and verify an registration is automated. All queries are done via Web Service calls or from external portal

The solution is one of the globally most promising public digitalization effort
