Nora Baldner

Nora Baldner is a dedicated journalism education professional who strongly believes in the importance of ethics, policy, and procedure in journalism. With a background in both journalism and political science, Nora has studied at the University of Missouri-Columbia for her MA in Journalism and at the University of California, Davis for her BA in Political Science. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor at Quincy University, where she imparts her knowledge and expertise to the next generation of journalists. Prior to her role at Quincy University, Nora has held several significant positions in the journalism and communication field. She has worked as a News Director at KHQA with the Sinclair Broadcast Group, as a Branch Manager at the Arthritis Foundation, and in various roles including Assignment Editor, Anchor, and Reporter at WGEM TV. Nora's passion lies in training journalists to uncover, illuminate, and disseminate the truth across all facets of society, emphasizing the evolving role of social media in shaping the journalistic landscape.
