Matt Hardwick is a seasoned software engineer with over 15 years of experience in developing systems and applications throughout various industries such as chemistry, military and aerospace simulations. He is passionate about practicing software engineering within small effective teams and creating solutions that succeed at any scale. His expertise includes event-driven architecture and real-time web systems, and he is a lifelong learner continuously pushing his boundaries, both as an engineer and personally, studying Mandarin Chinese to increase his fluency.

Matt graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Software Engineering and a Master's Degree in Computer Science. He has worked as a Software Engineering Lead at Datadog and previously held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Skuid, a Software Engineering Lead at Bellhops, and a Software Developer at both Camber Corporation and Ternion Corporation. Additionally, he was a Research Assistant & Woltosz Fellow at Auburn University.
