Bill George

Bill George is a highly accomplished business leader, author, and professor at Harvard University. He is widely recognized for his contributions to the world of business, specifically in the field of leadership development. George began his career at Honeywell and Litton Industries, followed by serving in the US Department of Defense. He then joined Medtronic in 1989, where he rose to the role of CEO and Chairman of the Board. Bill George is also the author of several best-selling books, including True North and Authentic Leadership.

Outside of his work at Harvard, George serves on the board of several organizations, including Goldman Sachs and the Mayo Clinic. He has also received numerous awards and recognitions for his leadership, including being named one of "Top 25 Business Leaders of the Past 25 Years" by PBS. George has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSIE with high honors from Georgia Tech.
