Damian Hernaez
Damian Hernaez is an accomplished video game developer with more than 10 years of experience in the industry. Hernaez has worked on various AAA console titles, mobile games, and PC games. Previously, he was the Lead Programmer for Master of Orion - Conquer the Stars, which was a re-imagining of the classic 90s strategy game. At Tlön Industries, Hernaez is currently working on PER ASPERA and being published by RAW FURY. He was also the founder of Fiero Studios, where he worked on several projects, including top 10 grossing mobile games and commercial and visualization applications. Hernaez is a graduate of Image Campus, where he studied Video Game Development.
As a Lead Programmer, Hernaez was in charge of most of the technical, core, pipeline, and engine tasks, as well as AI and integrations with other systems. Some of the titles that he's worked on include EA's Need for Speed: World, Command & Conquer 4, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, Madden Football 11, Tiger Woods 11, and MMA. Hernaez is especially proficient in Unity development, with more than six years of experience with the engine.
In addition to his professional work, Hernaez has been actively involved in various organizations in the industry, including Manager & Director of Development at Tlön Industries, Board Member at ADVA, Vice President at Sandstorm Interactive, and Tech Lead Video Games Developer at Globant. Hernaez has also taught at Image Campus and worked as a Games Developer at Innergames and Insomnia Business Solutions.
