Scharon Gordon boasts more than a decade of experience in specialty and structured finance, with a particular focus on private credit, securitization, risk management, valuation, and credit analysis. Gordon's expertise spans across various industries, including mortgages, student loans, autos, aviation, trade finance, and charged off receivables in the consumer space. His extensive knowledge in investment, specializing in MBS including SFR/CRT/NPL/RPL, ABS, asset-based lending, and CLOs, has opened up opportunities for him to work as the Vice President at Arena Investors, LP.
Gordon has a proven track record of success in investment banking. He holds a BA in Economics from Tufts University and an MBA in Finance from Fordham Gabelli School of Business. Prior to joining Arena Investors, LP, he served as Vice President, Structured Finance at Markit Group, and Vice President, ABS Desk Analyst at Marathon Asset Management. He also worked as a Trading Assistant at Marathon Asset Management.
Off-work hours, Gordon enjoys giving back to his community. He volunteered at Ronald McDonald House New York and served as a 2017 CUP Fellow at Council of Urban Professionals. Gordon studied Financial Modeling & Corporate Valuation at Training the Street and Fordham Prep.
