Michael Crow
Michael Crow is an academic leader, educator, and science and technology scholar with extensive experience in designing knowledge enterprises. He currently serves as the sixteenth president of Arizona State University, where he has led a transformation into becoming one of the nation's leading public metropolitan research universities. Crow's leadership has allowed ASU to establish major interdisciplinary research initiatives, witness an unprecedented expansion of academic infrastructure, and attain record levels of diversity in the student body. Crow previously worked as a professor of science and technology policy and executive vice provost at Columbia University, where he served as the chief strategist of Columbia's research enterprise and technology transfer operations. He has advised several US departments and intelligence agencies in matters of science and technology policy and knowledge enterprise design. Crow is an elected fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and National Academy of Public Administration.
