Paolo Ibarra is an accomplished Engineering Manager with over a decade of experience in the field. He graduated with a Computer Science degree from the University of the Philippines and initially worked as a Trainer and Mid-level Software Engineer before being promoted to Senior Developer and Analyst Programmer at several companies, including Orange and Bronze Software Labs and Chartis Technology and Operations Management.

Paolo eventually became a Software Engineer at Tremor Video and then Skyscanner, where he worked for several years before being promoted to Engineering Manager. In this role, he led teams across the globe and delivered revenue-producing data products, automation tools, and services that powered traveller-facing products. He is experienced in key technologies such as Java, Python, and AWS Services and worked with several organizations throughout his career.

Paolo currently leads the engineering team at Glovo, where he works closely with the product arm of the company to ensure delivery of the most impactful features to end users. He also coaches and mentors engineers to help them succeed in their role while maintaining alignment with the company goals.
