Zachary Bell

Zachary Bell is an accomplished educator, consultant, and entrepreneur who is dedicated to providing children of all backgrounds with access to summer camp experiences. With a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies and Education and a Minor in Sustainability and Environmental Management from the University of Pennsylvania, Bell has a wealth of knowledge and experience in creating diverse, inclusive, and impactful learning environments. He has worked as a 6th grade math teacher at Oakland SOL, a resident teacher at Education for Change Public Schools, an afterschool director at Urban Montessori Charter School, and an operations associate at C8 Sciences, among other positions. Additionally, Bell is the co-founder of Camp Common Ground — Bay Area, an organization that aims to promote empathy, empowerment, and equity among young people through summer camp. He has also worked as a consultant for Bain & Company and Kidaptive, Inc., and as a freelance journalist for Salon Media Group, Inc. Bell's skills and interests include education, entrepreneurship, journalism, sustainability, and social justice.
