Completed Pharmaceutical Internship focusing on Pre-Call Planning, calling on Providers, Analytics-working with reports to assess trends and prescribing habits,  understanding Managed Markets and Formulary influence, Effective messaging using marketing profiles, Efficient Routing and accessing Call Effectiveness (Open, Dialogue, Probing and Closing).  We also went through a mock process of studying with training modules and testing.

Medical Sales Internship

Employment involved Customer Relations, Bar Back and Security Services.  Responsibilities included assisting Bartenders, customer service, back up for security, and general venue responsibilities. Valuable experience interacting with different personalities, servicing the community, effective communications skills interacting with new customers and co-workers.  These skills would be effective tools to develop Provider and office relationships, coordinate activities and strategies with co-workers to improve efficiency and impact with each of my key accounts.

Specializing in schools, hospitals and large commercial spaces. This job also involved coordinating work activities with a variety of co-workers to improve efficiency.  Because this was a labor intensive job it gave me the opportunity to develop a work ethic of putting in long hours in a challenging environment.

Specialized in one-on-one customer interaction to develop dietary and fitness programs for customers to live healthy and active lives.  I was promoted to Supervisor because of my sales performance and exceeding goals.  I accomplished this by calling individuals I knew and interacting with the community to discuss their dietary needs and how our products could help them accomplish their goals.  I also developed markets strategies for our services and products to local college and high school coaches and athletes.  My interaction with coaches included PowerPoint presentations, dialogue about their needs and concerns, and closing them on the benefits of our product line.  The progression of the call involved meeting with the coaches first, then trainers and nutritional experts.

Job responsibilities included Sales and Marketing of Athletic Programs for Sports Specific Training and Recruiting Tools designed for high school athletes preparing for Collegiate Sports.  Services included agility training, conditioning, nutrition, strength training and sports specific drills to enhance performance.  Since I was training myself for Football at BHSU, I spoke at seminars with parents and prospective athletes discussing how the program enhanced my athletic abilities, as well as, how the Recruiting Tools (Highlight Game Video, Contacting College Coaches,  and working with High School Coaches to promote their athletes) impacted my ability to get a College Scholarship for Football.
