Meet Kimberly Parkinson, a highly experienced educator with a passion for helping students reach their full potential. Kimberly holds a Master of Science in General Education from the prestigious Bank Street College of Education, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Teaching, Elementary Education from Temple University. With an impressive resume spanning over a decade, Kimberly has held various positions in the New York City Department of Education, including Assistant Principal, Peer Collaborative Teacher, and Instructional Coach. Prior to working in the Department of Education, Kimberly worked as the Founding 4th Grade Lead Teacher at Girls Prep Bronx and as a 6th Grade Reading Teacher at Harlem Village Academy Middle School. In addition, she has experience teaching 3rd-grade students at PS 70.

As an Assistant Principal, Kimberly is responsible for overseeing the daily operations at her school, supervising teachers and staff, and ensuring that students receive a high-quality education. Her expertise in instruction and assessment, curriculum design, and professional development has helped her provide valuable guidance and support to her colleagues.
