Tyler Woods is a highly accomplished and experienced educator who has held various positions at the San Francisco Unified School District. With a broad range of specialties including leadership, teacher support and development, complex systems change, curriculum development, parent/community engagement, data analysis, and design thinking in education, Tyler has an impressive educational background and experience working closely with teachers to improve their effectiveness. Tyler studied Economics for Business & Management at Occidental College, and also studied Economics and Art History at Universidad de Salamanca. He has served as a Principal at San Francisco Unified School District and previously as an Assistant Principal, Instructional Reform Facilitator, 2nd Grade Spanish Bilingual Teacher, and 1st Grade Bilingual Spanish Teacher. Tyler has also lent his abilities to Teach for America as a Corps Member Advisor, and has worked as Portfolio Development Intern at Southern California Edison and Junior Associate at Beacon Management Group. Tyler's professional interests are broad-based and include leadership, teaching, professional development, data analysis, design thinking, and community engagement.
