Jane McBride is an accomplished legal professional with a rich educational background and an extensive career in the industry. She studied Political Science and History at McGill University, and went on to earn a J.D. from the New York University School of Law. With a simple mission to empower individuals, law firms, and legal departments with the tools they need to succeed, Jane has had a diverse career in the legal field. She has worked as General Counsel, Executive Vice President, and Director of Legal Services at various organizations, gaining experience in hiring, training, marketing, management, and business development. Jane now serves as Principal and General Counsel at Optimus Legal Management and Consulting.

Throughout her career, Jane has been an active member of various organizations in the legal industry. She was a founding member, Board Member, and Committee Chair at Women's In House Network, and served as Executive Director, President, and Board Member at Association of Corporate Counsel, DFW Chapter. She was also Chair and Council Member at Corporate Counsel Section of the Texas State Bar.

Jane has dedicated herself to coaching lawyers on how to reach the next level in their career, whether in-house or private practice. She helps firms and legal departments identify top talent that is a perfect fit for their culture, and consults with companies and firms to create a strategy that works on paper and in practice.
