Michael V. Pantalon, PhD
Michael Pantalon is a clinical psychologist, Senior Research Scientist at Yale School of Medicine, and co-founder of Center for Progressive Recovery. His mission is to provide addiction help for all, through professional recovery coaching and recovery coach training at Recoverypad.com. Michael has been developing and studying cutting-edge treatments for alcohol, cocaine, opioid, and tobacco use disorders since 1997, and has trained hundreds of clinicians and coaches in evidence-based addiction treatment.
With a Ph.D. in Clinical and School Psychology from Hofstra University, Michael has also studied Clinical Psychopharmacology and Psychology at Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology and Hofstra University, respectively. He has authored "Instant Influence: How to Get Anyone to Do Anything--Fast!" published by Little, Brown & Company, and has coached executives and leaders at Motivational Management Associates, as well as at Yale's School of Management.
Michael's experience also includes working as a clinical psychologist at St. Barnabas Hospital, clinical director at The Lorge School, and clinical psychologist at Institute for Behavior Therapy. In addition, he co-founded Step Stones Jewelry, ShugaTrak, and has been a faculty member and coach trainer at the Institute for Life Coach Training and Wellcoaches Corporation.
