As a senior official at the National Security Council (NSC), I directed all communications and media relations for the President's national security and foreign policy. I served as a senior counselor to the National Security Advisor with whom I traveled extensively to participate in discussions of geopolitical significance in countries including Russia, Turkey, Armenia, Ukraine, Israel, U.A.E., Japan, Vietnam, Mongolia, South Korea, Finland, France and Britain.

As the Chief Spokesman for the NSC, I worked across The White House, State Department, Defense Department and Intelligence Community to direct global media strategy, policy communications, social media, stakeholder engagement and crisis management to advance the U.S. national security agenda on issues concerning terrorism, cyber defense and 5G, economic and energy security, bioterrorism and nuclear proliferation.

Globally, I coordinated with counterparts from NATO Ally and partner nations on international matters of mutual importance. I drove messaging for the President's 2019 Hanoi Summit with Kim Jong-Un of North Korea. Furthermore, I headed development of the U.S. communications strategy for the G7 conference in France, the G20 conferences in Japan and Argentina.

Additionally, I led a department of 10 senior government communications officials and instilled an organizational structure and culture that allowed for strategic prioritization and responsiveness during time of crisis and urgency.

As the head of the firm, I led global business development and directed an annual budget in the millions. I serviced clients and recruited and managed more than a dozen employees and contractors in the United States and Europe.

Clients included PhRMA, Philip Morris International, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, International Pizza Hut Franchise Holders Association, Government of Japan, American Veterans Center and leading European travel technology platform Omio and fintech unicorn Raisin.
