Ceilon Aspensen, a passionate artist and educator, has made significant contributions in the field of art education. As a professional artist, she has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drawing from Mississippi State University and has pursued Continuing Education coursework in Education from The Johns Hopkins University. Furthermore, she holds a Master of Arts degree in Native American Studies and a Teaching Certificate in K-12 Art Broadfield, both from Montana State University-Bozeman. She is currently working towards completing her Doctor of Philosophy degree in American/United States Studies/Civilization from the same university.

Ceilon's extensive experience in teaching includes six years of teaching art in Baltimore City Public Schools and owning and operating BozeArts, an after-school and summer art camp program. She was also an Adjunct Instructor at Montana State University, where she taught American Indian Art Survey, and currently teaches junior and high school art at Shelby High School.

In addition to teaching, Ceilon has a TEFL certificate and teaches English as a foreign language to Chinese students in Beijing and Shanghai part-time. As a professional independent artist, she has exhibited her works in numerous galleries and shows. Along with her passion for art, she holds a keen interest in American Indian Art and is writing a dissertation on Contemporary American Indian Art.

With her vast experience and expertise, Ceilon Aspensen has been recognized for her outstanding teaching with the Montana State University College of Letters and Sciences Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award in 2006. She is a creative, inspiring & highly qualified art teacher and a professional independent artist who is vested in providing quality education and promoting art in the community.
