Kristen Berman is a prominent figure in the field of behavioral economics, entrepreneurship, and product design. With a degree in Marketing, Economics, and Business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Berman has made a name by studying how human behavior affects the way we interact with the marketplace. She co-founded Irrational Labs in 2013 with Dan Ariely, a company that designs products using behavioral economics to bring happiness, wealth, and health to people in a sustainable way. She also co-founded Common Cents Lab, an initiative dedicated to improving financial well-being for low-to-middle-income Americans. Berman was on the founding team of the behavioral economics group at Google and co-authored a series of workbooks called "Hacking Human Nature for Good: A practical guide to changing behavior."
