Operated a software consultancy company, specialising in both iOS & Mac software.Responsible for day-to-day operations, in addition to managing a small team of employees and sub-contractors.As Lead Engineer, I worked on a large number of iOS projects for our clients, beginning with basic concepts, and continuing through to shipping software, and after-sales support. This required close collaboration with the client, to ensure that expectations were consistently met and that feedback was addressed at all stages of the project.In addition to writing code, the above process included: performing technical feasibility assessments, creating specifications & wireframes, sourcing artwork, debugging, and performance tuning.

Worked on a number of j2's flagship iOS applications, including a large-scale rewrite of the eFax mobile-faxing app, and maintenance of the eVoice calling/messaging app.The latter half of my time at j2 was focused mainly on improving and maintaining the Line2 VoIP application.Other projects included a complete rewrite and redesign of the Campaigner marketing app.

Technologies used: Windows MFC, C#, .net, Visual Basic, ASP, Objective- C, C++, AppleScript. Administered Windows & Linux-based servers. Configured Asterisk-based PBX servers for testing purposes. Maintained & updated existing website HTML, CSS, & JavaScript.
