James Hugg
James Hugg is a renowned physicist and CEO, dedicated to saving lives and breasts through his work in breast cancer detection. He has an impressive educational background, having studied both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Physics with further specialization in Electrical Engineering at Caltech. He later pursued a PhD in Physics from Stanford University and then a Postdoc Fellowship in Medical Imaging at the University of California San Francisco.
Hugg's career has included notable positions such as CEO of SmartBreast, Inc. and former CEO at EVO Worldwide, where he led the development of breakthrough technology aimed at detecting breast cancer in women with dense breasts. Prior to that, he held senior roles at Kromek Group plc, Aleph-Tav Physics Consulting, Gamma Medica-Ideas, and GE Global Research, among others. His unique expertise in Physics has helped him specialize in medical imaging, which he uses to save lives and promote breast health.
Hugg has also served as an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Senior Staff Investigator in Neurology at Henry Ford Health System, and an Adjunct Associate Professor in Medical Physics at Oakland University, to name a few.
