Alexis Looney is a versatile professional with a robust background in the mental health and library industries. With a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from The University of Southern Mississippi and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Addiction Studies from the University of Central Arkansas, she has held various roles in different sectors. As a Quality Behavioral Health Provider (caseworker), she has honed her skills in mental health services, and now she is looking to pursue her passion for libraries as a Library Media Specialist at Little Rock School District for the 2021-2022 school year. Her diverse experience includes working as a former Recovery Advocate at Birch Tree Communities, Inc., a former Library Technician, a former Server at Old Chicago Restaurants, and a former Student Worker at the University of Central Arkansas.
