Martha Schwartz, a world-renowned landscape architect and artist, has over 40 years of experience in designing and planning landscapes, with a focus on cities, communities, and urban landscapes. Her expertise has earned her numerous awards and recognition, including the Honorary Royal Designer for Industry Award, the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award, and the Women in Design Award for Excellence. Schwartz is a tenured Professor in Practice of Landscape Architecture at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, a founding member of the Working Group of Sustainable Cities at Harvard, and an active member of the Landscape Architecture Foundation Climate Change Task Force. Her work has been featured widely in publications and gallery exhibitions, and her lectures on sustainable cities and urban landscapes have been delivered both nationally and internationally.
