Antonio Amico

Antonio Amico is a highly accomplished chemical engineer and product development expert with over 30 years of experience in the petrochemicals industry. He started his career at Società Italiana Resine and later joined ENI, where he conducted research on epoxy resin systems and developed advanced composites. Over the years, Antonio served in various roles at Versalis SpA, including Sales Manager, Polyethylene Marketing Manager, and Licensing Manager. He also worked as Renewable Products Portfolio Pre-Market Development Manager for one of the company's most strategic green chemistry projects. In January 2019, he moved to ENI's R&D department as Downstream R&D Product Technology Manager, where he leads a team of experts responsible for developing and optimizing lubricants, fuels, and bitumens, with a focus on renewable sources and environmental-friendly impact. Antonio studied Chemistry at Università di Camerino and completed a post-graduate program in Rheology of Macromolecules at the University of Glasgow.
