James Shaughnessy
James Shaughnessy is a seasoned digital creative director with over a decade of experience in the industry. He honed his craft as Branded Content Creative Producer at Machinima and ManiaTV, where he specialized in digital creative, strategy, and programmatic distribution. At Machinima, he worked closely with YouTube's largest influencers and clients like Google, Dolby Digital, and Honda, and was instrumental in securing $32 million of investment from Google in 2012 that fueled several narrative series. Since then, he has founded Paragon Creative Agency, where he has directed hundreds of hours of content for notable brands and companies such as Blizzard Overwatch Esports, IGN, Microsoft's Gears of War 4, Activision Call of Duty, Facebook, and Toyota, among others. James believes in data-driven, results-oriented, and creative solutions that deliver success in the digital landscape. He studied at Evergreen Middle School and earned a BFA in Film Direction/Writing from the University of Colorado at Denver.
