Juergen Heil is an experienced professional with an extensive background in computer science, especially in virtual and augmented reality, human-computer interaction, and user experience design. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of York and has worked as a research scientist and developer at various institutions, including Disney Research, ETH Zurich, and Fraunhofer Institute. He also co-founded a start-up, Hoverlay, which provides AR solutions for businesses and individuals.

Dr. Heil's research interests include the design and implementation of immersive and interactive systems, human-centered computing, and applied machine learning. He has authored numerous research papers and articles in prestigious journals, conferences and books. He also teaches courses and seminars on virtual reality, user experience, and machine learning at the University of California, Berkeley.
